Grand opening marks completion of a more than 30,000-square-food build-out designed to bring the team together in one location.

VICTORIA, B.C., October 26, 2026 — Bailey International celebrated the grand opening of Bailey Electronics’ new Victoria headquarters on October 8. The more than 30,000-square-foot facility brings the electronics division together in one location, strengthening collaboration among its teams and supporting the joysticks, handles and electronic controls it provides to customers worldwide.

The headquarters build-out ran from January 26 through June 30, 2026. The project was completed over 109 working days, representing 872 hours for each construction crew member. The October 8 grand opening event included a ribbon cutting and facility tours.

“Bringing the electronics team together in one headquarters strengthens how we serve our customers and support our people," said Darren Lockyer, VP of Electronics at Bailey International. "As part of Bailey, we’re proud to keep investing and building for the future right here in our community.”

Bailey’s electronics division serves customers with control products used across construction, agriculture, transportation and other industries. Consolidating the division in Victoria creates a shared headquarters for the people who develop and support those solutions.

“This new headquarters build-out was such a meaningful experience, and I’m really grateful to be part of a team that supports each other and keeps things moving forward," said Neda Bagheri, Project Manager for Bailey who oversaw the construction of the new facility. "It’s been one of those projects that reminds you how much can happen when the right people work together.”

“We see real potential to improve operator experience, efficiency and safety while simplifying product configuration and supply chains,” added Nicholas Whyte, New Product Development Manager at Bailey. “We’re looking for OEM partners to help us test and validate where this technology can deliver the most value.”

The new Bailey facility is located at #100 – 4480 Markham Street, Victoria, BC V8Z 7X8. For more information about Bailey’s electronics capabilities, visit www.baileyintl.com/electronics.

Interactive prototype explores how machine controls could adapt their feel and behavior through software

VICTORIA, B.C., September 30, 2026 — Bailey International has introduced an interactive force feedback joystick prototype that explores a new approach to operator controls: changing how a joystick feels and responds through software.

Previewed at the 2026 iVT Off-Highway Expo, the prototype demonstrates adjustable force resistance, centering feel, virtual gates and detents, and haptic cues. These settings can create different control experiences on a single hardware platform without changing mechanical springs or gates.

“As machines become more electronically controlled, the feel of the controls becomes a design choice,” said Darren Lockyer, VP of Electronics at Bailey. “We’re exploring how to give OEMs more flexibility to tailor that feel to the machine, the task and the operator.”

The current demonstrator lets visitors experience several concepts, including variable joystick resistance, software-defined gates and detents, tactile alerts, and guided control. With further development and appropriate machine integration, these capabilities could help operators receive information through the control itself and allow OEMs to configure different responses for machine modes or attachments.

The joystick is a development prototype, not a product available for purchase. Bailey is continuing to iterate on the technology and is seeking conversations with OEMs about the control challenges and applications that should guide its development.

“We see real potential to improve operator experience, efficiency and safety while simplifying product configuration and supply chains,” added Nicholas Whyte, New Product Development Manager at Bailey. “We’re looking for OEM partners to help us test and validate where this technology can deliver the most value.”

The work is part of Bailey’s broader exploration of electrohydraulic controls. OEMs interested in discussing potential applications can contact Bailey at https://www.baileyintl.com/contact.

Knoxville, TN – April 6, 2026 – Bailey International officially announced the release of its new, comprehensive product catalog, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s brand consolidation strategy. This extensive resource combines the distinct product lines of its former subsidiary brands—Sure Grip Controls, Hydrolico International, and Bailey Hydraulics—into a single, unified collection. This launch coincides with Bailey's 50th anniversary, symbolizing half a century of growth and service to the mobile hydraulics industry.

Following the recent merger of three separate websites into one corporate domain at www.baileyintl.com, the consolidated catalog represents one of the final steps in unifying all subsidiaries under the singular Bailey brand. The initiative is designed to streamline the procurement process for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), dealers, and distributors by providing a centralized source for both hydraulic and electronic components.

Daniel Stoltz, Product Lead for Bailey's hydraulics division, emphasized the operational advantages this unification offers to their partners, "The new master catalog reinforces Bailey’s commitment to innovation and customer service by streamlining access to thousands of standard and custom components."

Currently, the consolidated catalog is available for digital viewing and download at https://www.baileyintl.com/digital-catalogs. To further support customers in the field, Bailey plans to print and distribute hard copies of the master catalog later this year.

Nicholas Whyte, Product Manager for the company's electronics division, noted the significance of presenting a cohesive portfolio to the market, "This catalog reflects the way our customers design and build machinery, integrating electronic controls and hydraulic components into complete, fully engineered systems.”
